How much space do you need to perform?
I only need about a 5 by 5 foot area. Usually, your living room is a perfect place for this. Other than that, an area right in front of the performing area for the children to sit and enjoy the show is all I need. I’ll adjust to meet the needs of your party.
Can you perform the show outdoors?
Yes, I can, providing the weather is cooperative. Through years of performing I’ve found that birthday party shows are almost always better indoors. A tent, garage, or a finished basement are all great alternatives for a living room magic show. Weather can change very quickly, and even If the wind is blowing, that can be too much as some tricks and props can blow around.
Can we serve the kids food, drinks, and snacks during the show?
It is a huge distraction for the kids. Not only eating but the serving and cleaning up that takes place. So, I highly recommend that you not serve goodies during the performance.
Do all the children participate in the show?
The whole show is based on audience participation. Everyone will get to be in on the fun and a few will help as volunteers “on stage” directly. Of course, the birthday child will be the main star of the show and participate the most.
